BLACKPINK held "Kill This Love" dance cover contest.

YG Entertainment posted a poster announcing the hosting of "Kill This Love" dance cover contest "Kill This Love" on their official blog at 2 p.m. on April 12.

The "Kill This Love" dance cover contest ran for a total of 16 days from April 15 to 30, and a total of three final winners will be announced on May 10. The first-place winners will receive 20 million won, the second-place winners will receive 6 million won, and the third-place winners will receive 4 million won.

The dance cover contest was joined by Kia Motors Corp., whose Black Pink is serving as a global brand ambassador. As the total prize money alone is worth 30 million won, the event is drawing more attention than ever.

The dance video of 'Kill This Love' is on a high march, reaching 20 million views, the fourth day of its release. BLACKPINK has five video clips of their Billion View choreography, which is unprecedented in K-pop history, and is expected to surpass the Billion View mark as well.

Black Pink topped iTunes song charts in 37 regions around the world, including the United States, for "Kill This Love." Especially, it became the first Korean girl group to top the charts on iTunes in the U.S., marking another page in K-pop history.

Black Pink has moved to the U.S., successfully finished their stage at the Coachella Festival at 12 p.m. on April 13 (Korea time). Black Pink's stage was broadcasted in live on the New York Times Square electronic board.
