The music video for TWICE's second Japanese single album "Candy Pop" has surpassed 100 million views.


TWICE's "Candy Pop" MV reached 100 million views on YouTube around 11:51 p.m. on April 30.

"Candy Pop" MV is the second-ever record of 100 million views on YouTube among Korean singers' Japanese releases. TWICE will take over 100 million views after Girls' Generation's "Mister Taxi" (MR.TAXI).


In response, JYP Entertainment posted an image commemorating the 100 million views of "Candy Pop" MV through TWICE's official SNS channel in Japan and thanked fans for their enthusiastic cheering.


The title track "Candy Pop," released in February 2018, is a song full of sweet and plump charm, with their music video also featuring fresh and bubbly TWICE. The MV features TWICE as an animated character, drew attention with its unique production of animation and real world.


The "Candy Pop" MV drew attention with a story written by JYP's chief Park Jin young said, "After seeing a girl who looks lonely in the Candy country, TWICE moves on to the human world at the risk of seeing the child in a desire to help her." Also, the playful paintings by member Chae young herself are known to be hidden, adding to the popularity point.


TWICE will meet with ONCE through 10 solo performances in nine cities around the world, including four cities in North and South America, with its 2019 world tour "TWICE WORLD TOUR 2019 "Twice World Tours." The concert will be held at the KSPO DOME in Seoul, the first venue of the two-day world tour, on May 25 and 26.
